Commenced early in 2020, the Cranbourne North ELC was the second of our childcare centres to be completed after I Am Learning Mernda ELC.
The 100-place I Am Learning ELC Cranbourne North is located in the established suburb of Cranbourne North, adjacent to the historic Tulliallan Residential Estate. The heritage-listed Tulliallan goes back to the 1840s. The avenue of 51 Elms down each side of the original driveway are a staggering 124 years old and much is preserved within the grounds of the homestead.
Our interest in establishing a child care centre in this area was not historical, more so, the demand in the area with predominantly young families. We knew that competition would be tough in the locality due to three (now four) established childcare centres within 500m of our site including one run by the local Tulliallan Primary School.
Notwithstanding, construction of the centre was completed late in 2020, with I Am Learning Cranbourne North ELC opening in February 2021. Within two years of opening, the popular centre was operating at 85% capacity.
